Maybe it works (cleans the window), but all I remember about it, that it froze down way below advertised temperature. I think it was -10 deg, and it was compeltely frozen, while label showed lower freezing temp (I can't remember how much it was).
Didn't bother buying it again.

Sounds to me like you used more water than screenwash. Dilute it properly and it won't freeze.

I'd recommend everyone having a tyre inflator handy like in the first one there.

Really a lot less hassle to just have one for the sake of 16 quid

I didn't dilute it at all.
Maybe I'm mistaken, but I think it said -15 deg freezing temp. Or maybe -25.
But I do remember it froze at around -10, and I was in serious sh1t on motorway in Germany.

Have one of them in the boot too,the lidl one is better than the more expensive Halfords one we have in work.

I bought their wipers once a few years ago, they were fine but not brilliant. I don't have the hands free kit so can't really comment but it looks like you have to re charge the microphone part which would be a pain in the hole for me and I would always forget to...

You'll get a brookstone tyre inflator in most decent garages for 9.99 and it's far better quality that the Aldi one. Barring the jack and stands that stuff is not cheap IMO

I have the trolley jack and axle stands a few years now from lidl.

Might try get the compressor this time round, handy for home for the bike or if you get a slow puncture.

Only picked up a set of OEM wipers for my car last week so may look at the wipers too for the girlfriend's car.

Dunno where you live but here's a few options off the top of my head, Texaco at spawell, Maxol Sandyford, Esso Ratoath all do them afaik

Its a good jack and served me well with the Nissan Primera, but won't lift the MR2 or type R [lowish cars] to a decent height so couldn't get under them - in the end I got a Sealey Yankee 3 tonne off T for Tools in lurgan - lifts the car like its a box of feathers - absolutely no camparison

It's a jack not a ramp,i've no intention of getting under the car when it's on any jack,for a good value for money and safe option for your average motorist changing a wheel on the side of the road it's hard to beat, it lifts my S3 (lowish) and my older charlie cheapo lidl one lifted my old Bora which was a lot lower no issues.

A good tip is to keep a couple of inches square block of wood in the boot, you can use this to drive one wheel up onto to give you extra clearance to get the jack in under a low car,or as a choc when jacking on a hill.
