Xbmc on Android 4.0

    Is it possible to install xbmc and navi-x/mash up/icefilms plugins to an android 4.0 mini p.c.?

    Have one ordered but unsure of what do next.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    You will be able to install them but how well they run is another question.

    They will run but not well as xbmc for android is very buggy.

    I have a little android box running XBMC Frodo with no issues, I've found the hubwizard from fusion.xbmchub.com excellent, setup icefilms, IWO and loads of other addons with pretty much zero config required by me. Well worth a look, I have the minix 5 android running jellybean. No issues at all.

    Some Android Mini PCs need to be jailbroken so you may not be able to install xbmc. I have an MK908 4.2 running Jellybean. XBMC runs smoothly. Navi X Icefilms and 1Channel have never given me any problems. XBMC on this android mini PC is self updating and I have never had a problem except maybe with 1080p HD movies but 720 and lower run as smooth as a dvd or blu ray.

    Android mini pcs cannot be jailbroken as there is no such thing. However they can be rooted. But you shouldn't need to to install XBMC. I think you are thinking of an apple TV.
