And doesn't the windows need to be properly blacked out aslo? (as in a metal plate welded in behind the glass instead of just tint film)?

Yes, glass just for show, a metal plate is welded in

    I'm not sure.
I know my dads old landcruiser had the doors still intact but no glass.

That's normal for land cruisers converted by toyota Ireland. There's no requirement by revenue to actually remove the glass though.

You can also bond in a metal plate if you don't wanna weld.

Looks like the reflection of surrounding buildings.

Nah I still like my 406's, I check them everyday  good ones are thin on the ground though and I'm sure some posters could get very pissy with me if I post more of them :o:p

Sure I go through phases of posting different yokes, for a while it was E classes, these days it's E39's. A fab car for the money it seems... ;)

    155km would be about 95mls
Not unrealistic if it did 9000mls in a year?

is it not 155 miles though rather than kilometers?

3 different mileages! Worse for me to post that, it has a mileage identity crisis :pac:

    I was considering that too..
But why would the mechanic bother to convert to KM's when the clock reads in miles and service book asks for mileage.

    im thinking, 03, 04, 05 - serviced by mercedes & all in miles - 10k per year
next service is indepedent and mileage jumps to 20k per year
i think someone switched the odo to km in the settings and lynch motors wrote in the km value (on the first slot on a new page no less)
everyone else after that followed suit as they went on from there

the current seller wants the car to appear closer to the magical 100k (as whther its km or miles the irish driver knows once its done 100 of them the wheels could fall off at any minute). so he switched the clocks back to mls for the photo

as for the missing mile, he obviously reversed the car into the bushes for some photos and accidentally wound the clock back slightly!

My thoughts too, subway. You see that a lot on the BMW E60 too. Some owners prefer reading in miles, some others in km (from my own observations, eastern european owners nearly always prefer km)

    My ads on adverts.ie:

Victron stuff for sale, Multiplus-II, Quattro, other inverters and batteries and usually some watches!

Lovely colour , Id say the mileage is probably genuine with a Km crisis.

I think the 50 MPG is a bit of a tall tale!

2002 Volvo S40, 80k miles, NCT 9-14, leather, 4 good tyres, bit of a polish, wax and a scrub of those alloys and it would look tidy.

    €750

Not sure if it is the GDI engine.

I had a car serviced recently by a main dealer and they filled in the mileage in the service book in KM. Every stamp until then had been in miles, and the cars odometer only displays in miles. I can't understand why they did that. They didn't even write KM after the number so it looks like the car has a huge gap in service history and has been clocked back 100k miles+

He's saying €636 tax so it'd be non GDI

Has another car for sale, could be a bit of a wheeler dealer

Good to know for anyone interested, I believe the non GDI is the prefered version.

Didn't spot he had other cars, could be a possible Arthur Daley!

Well you can change the settings on the dash to read KMs, so entirely possible a previous owner just had the clock set to KMs and the milage was recorded as seen.
