    hi,
anyone recommend a really light glasses frame,
my local optician doesn't have anything suitable so am willing to travel.

hear titanium are the way to go, are these expensive?

    thanks

Usually rimless titanium, are the lightest frames.
Brands like Silhouette, Lindeberg or generic versions like Superlites or Zuma

Silhouette do some with thicker sides "Enviso" and "Zenlight" range which are a bit trendier and targeted at a younger age group.

Rayban also do a range of "Tec Carbon Fibre" frames which are very light but quite smart also.

Flexon, Nike and Euroflex are also quite light in full frames and half frames if you want something a little more robust

Plastic frames are very comfortable and popular at the moment.
There are plactic frames made out of a material called TR90 material and they are extremely light. It is not widely used so can be pot luck as to where to find them.

Specsavers do a range of them, I've used rimless for years usually get 3 years before lens start to crack, very light when used with plastic lens which don't scratch
