    Asking €950
He will fix it for an extra €250. Damage doesn't look too bad.

If it's just the bonnet and bumper, I can get them for about €80...... Even a set of lights would cost €15 each. Think of the mark up ;)

    Are Volvos trustworthy?

There's ridiculous value in them at the minute (the S80 with LPG conversion for €1400 springs to mind!), but I'd be worried they'd break my balls.

I never hear the end of it if I sold my own yoke and bought a bag of spanners.

Probably more like a faulty air flow meter, easy fix, but I'd be trying to get a 2.0 T instead for tax reasons .

I think that's a first for you in relation to an alfa!:pac:

In fairness there's a lot of **** alfas out there in the bangernomics territory which I wouldn't touch with a 10 foot barge pole. There are some that pop up from time to time (generally for sale by pat in Wexford).

The ones that are in good condition and enthusiast owned tend to be kept!:D

Nice, but the carpets look they came straight from Des Kelly! :)

Dealer has 26 cars for sale, including a Dolomite.

That's actually my old car I sold it last year to a guy from Poland who lived in Cavan
I bought it and put a secondhand engine in it.Drove it for a while and then the pump started acting up so I sold it as it was as I wasn't working at the time

Looks like the pump was never done

    Was a comfy bus though

How can you tax a car under commercial tax as he claims?

    You can't!
You need to have many criteria for commercial tax, and that volvo has none of em

You'd have to remove all the back seats AFAIK, but as said it isnt that simple.

^^^ Thanks lads thought it was crap alright, saw passenger jeeps converted to commercials alright but the seats and paperwork had to be done etc, dont ya hate when people write bullsh*t claims on car ads!

Do you not need to change the floor as well and get an engineers report done?

Think you might be right on that as well. Engineer needs to sign off that the car is indeed a commercial. Not sure how the hell he has done it..
I'd be quite reluctant to write that type of stuff on DD where everyone can see my number plate

Not really, I have nothing against them tbh :) Not only is that car very clean but it also looks like a very genuine car also. A great find to be fair.

And doesn't the windows need to be properly blacked out aslo? (as in a metal plate welded in behind the glass instead of just tint film)?

    I'm not sure.
I know my dads old landcruiser had the doors still intact but no glass.

I know someone who had to do it to a pajaro when converting it over. That was about ten year ago though.
