Anyone successfully set up a proxy based in the uk so as you can view iPlayer on your satellite receiver through the internet?
I can connect my Humax to a ethernet cable but would need to modify the connection to see whats on iPlayer with localised locking

This really can't be discussed here, as VPNs are a bit of a grey area, legally speaking. I have a VPN on my laptop that gives me the iPlayers from all the UK broadcasters, but like you, I would like it on my Humax Freesat box, but I think the only way to do it, is to adjust the settings on the broadband router, but not sure how it's done, or indeed, is there another way to get VPN settings to the Humax ?

There is no discussing circumventing regional restrictions
