Haha. Has it been taxed since you were born.
I recall a very old tax disc on the windscreen.
Whats the plan for the others. Or are they gone too far?

The others are spares cars, always have been :)

The awkward moment when you're driving along and a sound from the engine emerges, similar to spun bearings :(:(:(

Then mysteriously goes away after a minute and car drives as normal

    F*ck you semi ecu

Sure take the ECU, I think we've fairly settled on the idea that the 406 doesn't need one.

I wish! Without the ecu it runs as flat as a witches tit. I need a pre 97 pump and then I can bin the ecu :)

Sitting here on these beautiful leather seats makes me realise how much I'd rather be driving this instead of the 406 :(

no, I had to delay the VRT due to a few things happening and a mortgage looking to be paid:(, will be in a few days. Apparently the VRT center can make plates for you there and then for a price.

How hard is it for a garage to leave your car back without all the settings changed, mirrors moved, seat moved in every direction, oil spilled on the engine cover and without a big greasy oily hand print on the bonnet.

All this done while they were only replacing the passenger airbag module. Also was nearly late for work as they sold the car they had booked for me to take away.

I'll leave the garage nameless however as I haven't complained. Only saw the state of the car at 6 when I left work.

True that. I'm sitting here browsing old Corollas so I can enjoy a few months of hassle free cheap ass motoring. I'd like something I literally didn't care about for a few months.

You think that's bad, car serviced in May then back in June for MOT. They do me the favour of a free healthccheck and tell me that there might be a problem with oil filler cap as there's a little oil around it, perhaps the cap has perished and I should pay them for a little more work. No, that's your crap technicians spilling oil on the engine cover that they couldn't be arsed wiping up. Twats. I didn't bitch about your carelessness but you want to make money out of it and think I'm thick enough not to notice - followed by a refund of the MoT fee.

I've had my fun with her.If i could afford to keep 2 cars running, taxed, insured and serviced I'd be keeping her but unfortunately thats not possible.
