You bringing the chaser to the next boardsie meet ?

Would love to see her in the flesh

    depends when it is,

I would love to be there but without some of the body kit it just looks like a regular bmw or camry, i have the spoiler and seatbelts on the way from Japan, €300 down. I might be able to source sideskirts and front lip for Christmas. Hope I make it.

I reckon another dyno day would get a lot more interest than a track day for insurance reasons alone

So. Driving home (to kylemore) from Inchicore. Idiot in an 06 silver opel corsa doing less than 40 km/h the whole way, slowing to 30 in parts. Preceding this, she rolled through a junction on a red light. No amount of beeping and flashing would get her to speed up or pull in so she was shown the tail lights and covered in soot :D

Some people shouldn't be behind a wheel tbh, far too nervous

This wasnt even a learner driver (I would have been more patient if it were, we've all been there), this was the dangerous category imo, middle aged woman.

Max I don't know about yours, but with mine if I'm behind something like that for a good while and I gun it, I will create a cloud of smoke that you cannot see through behind you :)

    Just bought this. http://www.ebay.ie/itm/231049125063?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649

Steering wheel is in very good condition compared to mine which has most of the bare leather exposed.:(
Had planned to get it reupholstered but was looking at a very high price for that.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,473 ✭✭✭YbFocus

That's cheap Scortho! Nice Ceapo fix :)

Yep. Its the only thing on the car that shows its 136k miles.
I had planned to get it reupholstered but that was working out at over 100 anywhere i went.

Might see if I can combine a phase 1 wooden steering wheel with the multifunction section of mine.

A wooden mfsw was an option for the interior face lifted 156, just very few went for it.

Nice one, I love a bit of wood :pac:

My steering wheel is showing no wear now actually that you say it, at 155k miles today.

Definitely man, not far from me so unusually I may be of use to this.
    I'll keep an eye out!

In other news my rm250 **** itself in the top end of 5th today, lower part of the piston on the exhaust side broke off and caused a massive lock up at speed!
All this 20hrs since I last rebuilt it, should get 40ish from it before a piston change.

Rewatching some of the old seasons of the current Top Gear, they really were way better back around season 2.

Yes, I prefer the episodes when the jokes were funny, rather than becoming cliches of themselves. I do still enjoy the new episodes but not in the same way.

Yes, 535d owner and proud of it!:D
