bring out detail grainy black and white pic

    I was sent a scan of a grainy black and white photo. Is there any way i can bring out detail in it. I opened in Gimp but not sure what to do, should i increase or decrease something

    Unfortunately without seeing the photo there's not really much we can tell you bar what you'll learn from googling.
