Price range of Coillte leases

    Just wondering whats the price range of the forestry leases coillte give out never had one just curious whats roughly the range i know the size varies as does price.

    its done as a tender system, you stick in your bid and hope for the best also it seems to be checked as like a score type system, meaning have you been on one before etc. When times were good the bids where usually very high likes thousands and there would normally be a group of lads applying to lower the cost for each lad,with only of them being the licensee and the others being nominated stalkers. The only thing i can tell you is to get a group of lads together and bid on one setting your price for each lad, you never know you might be lucky and get one fairly cheap. But i dont think theres any available at the moment, coillte usually put out the list of available lets twice a year and i think the last one was back in july.

    prices vary depending what u want it for rough shooting,deer etc and as PLo5 says it goes on a tender system and points as well giving preference to the current holder of the lease but follow the below link it will give you an insight on whats required.
