The scene in the Fast Show where Ralph has to tell Ted something important but he has to participate in a drinking game.

When Father Ted asks Dougal if they have any incense.

David Brent - I think theres been a rape up there.

Monty Python - Philosophers World Cup.

Black Books, Manny comes up with a plan for a childrens book that Bernard likes at first.

    Psychoville, Season 1 Ep 4.

The entire episode was shot in a single take in sketch format and was absolutely brilliant.

Yes! That is brilliant, great ending to the "relationship" between Ralph and Ted as well.

My favourite will always be The Two Ronnies Mastermind, expert subject was answering the question that went before the current question. It's Genius.

At work so no linky, but if a kind soul were to add it, i'll throw them 1 Thanks and I'll also thank a random post they made elsewhere that is low in Thanks!

Great sketch but the ending lets it down slightly. Seen an interview with Ronnie Barker where he said he has always regretted the 'billhooks' line at the end. Think he rewrote it later on changing the billhooks line to "Right then young man, what kind of knockers are you after?"

I love this scene with Liam Neeson from life's Too Short :D

Possibly the best punch line I've ever seen in a sketch

Stewart Lee is like a pseudo intellectual Michael McIntyre. Both utter ****e but both utterly revered by certain sections of society. A fart by John Sullivan would be funnier and more intelligently done than Lee's whole career, and he knows it. Unfortunately, his fans don't. Lee dissing OFAH is like some oul c'unt down the local claiming he could have personally knocked out Ali back in the day. Pathetic humour.

Has to be the scene from only fools and horses where del and Rodney are dressed as batman and Robin

While it was great, I'm tied about the auto inflating blow up dolls and the exploding bus myself. In all truth while nearly every episode was great, there must be at least ten scenes that can contend for a "best of" moment, not many shows can bost that in a 20 year run (with several years off)

Has Stewart Lee's comedy ever caused a person to nearly throw up, blind from crying in a laughing fit?

Has it ****. But Only Fools has for me, several times. Lee is a wanker of the highest order.

The Saturday Night Live "Celebrity Jeopardy" sketches, in particular the ones with Sean Connery or Burt Reynolds.

Stewart Lee doesn't like Only Fools and Horses? I didn't think I could dislike the cretin any more than I already did.
As you said, a throwaway line from Sulllivan is funnier than an hour of Lee

Trigger and Rodney drinking pints at the bar:
    Rodney "Looks like rain"
Trigger <looks at his pint> "Yep. Tastes like rain and all"

He has a ten minute on stage rant followed by a video about how generally moronic it is that the general public vote it as the best scene of all time.

I think. I switched off the youtube after three minutes of vindictive self pity masked as critique that he won't ever manage anything more talented than some ****e that once got stuck on John Sullivan's shoe.

Lee's show on comedy with the alternative comedians was woeful, pretentious fcukbags who think they're way funnier than they actually are. I'm no big fan of Only Fools but it had some genuinely hilarious moments in it.

Another one that I loved was in the UK Office at the training day when david brent was trying to get one better on the trainer and did the sketch of someone getting assaulted in a hotel. Later on he takes out his guitar. I thought it was really well written and I laughed so much albeit with my hands up to my face through cringeing:

Rowan: I'm gonna play a very bad hotel manager who just doesn't care, and...
David Brent: Sorry, if it's a Basil Fawlty type character, well, er, maybe I should do it, just for the comedy.
Rowan: Let me play it, just to kick things off.
David Brent: Yeah, well I'll probably bring something to this role anyway.

Rowan: Hello, I'd wish to make a complaint.
    David Brent: Not interested.
Rowan: My room is an absolute disgrace, the bathroom doesn't appear to have been cleaned.
David Brent: What room are you in?
    Rowan: 362
David Brent: There is no 362 in this hotel... sometimes the complaints will be false.

David Brent: I'd like to make a complaint please
    Rowan: Don't care
David Brent: Well I am staying at the hotel...
Rowan: Don't care, it's not my shift
David Brent: Well you're an ambassador for the hotel...
    Rowan: I don't care
David Brent: I think you'll care when I tell you what the complaint is...
    Rowan: I don't ca...
David Brent: I think there's been a rape up there.
David Brent: ...I got his attention. Get their attention.

Or the other scene with Gareth:

Rowan: Gareth, quick trust exercise, ultimate fantasy?
    Gareth: Hmm?
David Brent: We're just doing the ultimate fantasy, we're all doing it.
Gareth: Two lesbians probably, sisters. I'm just watching.
Rowan: OK. Erm. Tim? Do you have one?
Tim: I'd never thought I'd say this, but can I hear more from Gareth please?

Some of the Marx Brothers stuff was utter genius, them piling a load of people into a cabin or the "sanity clause" sketch.
