Fancy a c5 for your collection?

Just back from watching Rush. Good lord was it good, real edge of the seat stuff!!

Just as a warning though it'll make you drive like a total prick on the way home. I had great fun throwing the Levin around the Dundrum underground afterwards.... and on the way home:P:cool:. If anyone saw my driving on the way home I wish to apologize, I think I help give levin drivers a bad name :o
It's been a while since I threw it around so much, I had forgotten how tail happy it is for a FWD :pac::cool::eek::D That's how my facial expressions went on a few occasions.

As a further warning, Dundrum have been known to forward CCTV to An Gards of people acting the maggot. So be careful.. Difficult I know as the car park is rather fun.

As its private property can much be done?

Doesn't matter if it's private property, if the public has access to it then yup.

Now that's interesting as I've heard people saying to go to retail car parks during snowy weather to practice skid control in the car parks.

Years ago the rumour around UCD was that you could get away with drink driving as it was private property and not a public area. Not that I did of course but glad to know it was bollocks

To adopt the same philosophy, one could murder another in private grounds and expect not to be prosecuted. If you and I can get in there, then it's public. :)
    Public Place
    “public place” means any street, road or other place to which the public have access with vehicles whether as of right or by permission and whether subject to or free of charge;

a quick google brings up this, hoping this isn't outdated.
Section 3 of the Road Traffic Act 1961 defines a public place as:

    (a) any public road, and

    (b) any street, road or other place to which the public have access with vehicles whether as of right or by permission and whether subject to or free of charge.

Thing is though I've rang and complained before when someone tried to cause an accident and when someone accused my mother of hitting their car and the gardai always just say its happened on private property and nothing they can do.

Although I've been told before to ask for whoever is in charge at the station in future by a Garda mate.

    Public Place

    not same philosophy.

people think rules of road not apply to private property, such as your back garden or if you own a field. People confuse with what is a public place or private place.

that no way similar to someone thinking you can murder in private place, a home is private place, every day a school day mugs ;) hand back the gold star
