At 17/18 I was Jack Black in School of Rock (shite long hair, long sideburns, '70s-ish clothes, bit chubbeh, played guitar)

I used to get told that I look like Avril Lavigne an awful lot. People came up to me asking for autographs more than once

I used to be told I looked like Kevin Smith when I was in college.

Lost a bit of weight after that, and one time I was in Munich a bunch of Germans came up and asked for pictures with me. When I asked why, they said I looked like some famous German rapper. They really wouldn't believe me, even though I couldn't speak German. They started buying me and my mates drinks. Bizarre. They really thought I was trying to remain low-key and not be noticed.

Funny tho.

on colleague kept telling me i looked like Elaine from seinfield for some reason.

I have often been told penelope cruz when I have a tan (I wish I did look like her!)

oh and have been told a wierd number of times that I have a smile like Julia roberts - thanks to my big mouth when I smile!

I've been getting loads of these lately, and they're all people who look complete different! Most recent ones are Clint Dempsey, a young James Nesbitt and "the guy from Prison Break".

I don't look like any of these people.

Years ago I was sitting outside Heathrow T1 having a fag when Jeremy Clarkson sat down beside me. We chatted a bit while we smoked and as i finished off me fag I said to him....

“you know, at work people call me Hammond”
“oh yeah” he says, “whys that?”
“Well”, says I, “obviously i look a little bit like him”
“True” he says
“but mostly” says I, “its cause I’m an obnoxious little cnut too”

With that he nearly fell off the wall laughing. He pulls out the phone and called Hammond and told him the story, naturally Hammond hung up on him.
