I drove a 3 series bmw for the first time in ages today
It was ba_barabus's 318. Its in nice shape for an 02 car! (it might have helped that he was working the DA on it as I drove in :) )

Tbh I was surprised at how soft the setup was, I was expecting much stiffer.
Nice car though, nice bloke too.

I'd say my oil burner is faster though:pac:
Yours is definitely faster but then again mine isn't covered in scratches :pac:

Top bloke too and now you owe me coffee!

Tracking still off on my car, 28eur down the drain. But...! Good things will be happening soon and they started today. :3

I looked at an auto 330Ci earlier today.

I have a few questions you could all help me with:
What mpg would it return in town and motorway driving, how much are they to tax and is the price too strong?

The seller is looking for €4000 but it comes with a FBMWSH and is absolutely immaculate. I don't mind paying more for a good one. I'm aware I can get one cheaper but I couldn't be bothered trying to buy a cheap one and make it into a good one as it always ends up more expensive in the long run.

Around 20mpg around town and high 20's on a run would be my MPG.

If my car was on the emissions tax system, it would be €750 instead of €1494!

So one problem gets resolved, another begins!

Deep droning sound coming from the left hand side of the car, possible imminent wheel bearing failing?

Ithink you had a lucky escape with the Dodge Ram SRT10, my local Indy had one in when I was getting some work done last week. He's been looking after it for 4 years and it's gone through 4 clutches.

Yeah it was rotten solid. This one was an auto though.
I've been mulling it over in my head, and, even if I bought it for 500 squid there would still have needed thousands thrown at it!

Well all I really did today was open up one of my ECUs to see if a transistor was bad. Doesnt seem to be, sure looks lonely though:
