Phased Project Maths introduction confusion...

    Question for any Maths teachers out there 'cause I'm a bit confused...

    Is this T&T2 book the correct book for 3rd years this year? I'm after getting a job and am teaching a JC HL Maths class and they're using this book from last year. It states "2014 onwards" on it and also says it covers Strands 1-5.

    But according to this timeline the new Strand 5 isn't going to be examined until 2015? I must be missing something...:confused::confused:

    I'm not sure about text and tests but I know the folens active maths HL has a supplement for the strand 5 stuff of the old course for third years

    They probably have it so as not to waste a load of money on books that are void after one year. Strand 5 is functions and personally I don't think it's overly different to the old course. You could probably use their current book as long as you make sure you teach what is required of them from the old syllabus.
