Windows 8 Pro Registry Values *URGENT*

    Hi all,

    I've changed a few of the registry values on my windows 8 pro machine and i didn't record the defaults. Can one of you kind people please have a look at your Windows 8 Pro machine registry and tell me what the default values are.

    To get to the registry.

    Search regedit.

    Click regedit.

    Ok so here are the registry values i need. They should be under the Data column.

    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT/exefile (Default)

    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT/exefile/shell/open (Default)

    Thank you. I'm pretty sure the shell/open Default value is different in Windows 8 Pro.

    Just wondering should i enter the value as "Application" or Application. Quotes or no quotes?

    Still looking for shell/open Default. The value i have at the moment is "%1" %*

    My shell/open has a default thats a REG_SZ (a string) with no value (unset)
