I have my interview tomorrow for the Post Primary Diploma. Has anyone any feedback or advice. My degree is in History and English. Not really looking forward it as one would expect. Thanks in advance.

Hi, just completed the PDE, a tough two years with bleak prospects at the minute but glad I done it. My degree was in English and Geography and found the interview to be fine. The usual questions were asked college, previous experience etc, hardest questions were why you want to be a teacher, ICT in the classroom and then quick questions on my subjects. Overall nothing to difficult, they want you to get the course so will help you where possible. Best of luck.

Hardest question was how to address the low levels of literacy and what I would do. Overall it went good. The time spent on my subjects was great as I love them so that was good. Fingers crossed.
