The game is two discs, so 16GB of data. I reckon the "mandatory install" is 8GB just like Forza 4, so game assets/music etc load faster. The downside is you're playing from a disc, and the Xbox 360 noise/disc wear is a factor. I'd go with budgeting 16GB, install the first disc like you would a regular game and then let the game perform the mandatory install from disc 2; whisperquiet gaming, fast load times etc

Typically takes 3 working days from Amazon with standard post in my experience, which places it on your doorstep on Tuesday, the 17th

Ah don't mind that, prob just leaving their warehouse or whatever. It may not be flown or shipped over here till Monday!

Am I the only one more excited about what the music will be like over anything else in the game, would love to see a complete list of all the songs that will be included, but do not want to spoil it.

I've seen the list a few weeks back and the soundtrack is absolutely top notch man. You won't be disappointed.

I'm actually really worried Kavinsky won't have his own station in it. From what was officially released by Rockstar and no mention of him in the leaks, looks like he isn't in it even though he said he was in January. Maybe Rockstar punished him for announcing it too soon?

Ok mixed news on this one folks.

What I have been told is that there was indeed an issue with the initial consignment of stock on Xbox only. This was a manufacturing fault which damaged discs / rendered them faulty and was only discovered as stock started landing in the top tier distributors. There has been a major push to re manufacture these units / allocate stock from elsewhere and extra / replacement stock is expected to land over the weekend and in time for release day. In fact some of this has already arrived.

We've been told that our day 1 stock is secure and we as in Gamesnash have no issues with shortages. Our stock is here in Ireland (but not released to us until Monday)

Reading between the lines though and this is my personal opinion - there may be some shortages on Xbox considering wave 2 stock was not due until the end of the month I'd be wondering how much stock / production facilities could be utilised at short notice to get stock replaced. This all depends of course on what % of the initial run was damaged / faulty. I don't have that figure myself.
