Problem with polo car, need advice please

hi, got a 1ltr vw polo car here that failing the emissions etc,passed on everything else and spent €200 on it already. seems to be off 1 cylinder and the oil is wetting the plug. Anyway quick fix on this to get it thru the test as up for retest on Monday and then full test if its fails again thanks

Put a new plug in the bad cylinder.
Clean the throttle body.
Reset the throttle body and the ECU adaptions.

Then it might scrape through.

It needs an engine rebuild though and probably a cat.

It is done via diagnostics.
