    Can anyone help me, i'm trying to remember the footballer who went on to become a Euro champion in martial arts?

    And can anyone else think of any footballers that went on to do something mad after they finished playing?

    Lizarazu got involved in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He competed in a Jiu-Jitsu competition in Europe in 2009, where he became European champion in the Blue Belt Senior 1 Light Division

    I think he might be a black belt in some form. But there was definitely a well known player who became European champ in some kind of martial art after he retired.
