    ok 2 suggestions 1:

    i think therefore i am not a blonde :p

    and 2:

Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes. because then he's a mile down the road, and you've got his shoes!

    i like that one...

Thanks for your suggestions Drowner. They are pretty funny. I think the original versions are more suitable for the phrase of the day.

    I think therefore I am

Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes.

There is a thread on the humour board "One liners post here :P Puns also welcome" Your suggestions would go down well there.

    You know these:

Cats always land on their feet
Toast always lands buttered side down

Well I was thinking I would tie a piece of toast butter side up on the top of a cat and throw em in the air.

I'd say they'd spin in the air for the rest of time.:ninja:

29th April - The opportunity of a lifetime must be taken during the lifetime of the opportunity

    Ivan they are interesting.

"Perception of reality is more important than reality itself".

Do you really agree with this? I think reality is more important. Ones perception of reality can be tainted by bad experiences, or a lack of understanding.

I agree with it from a disinformation/political point of view in terms of meeting an objective. I.e, it doesn't matter what happened, it matters what people think happened (change tense to suit).

From a personal point of view, I'm not so sure, but I suppose on a certain level your perception is all you have, and you hope that it is not too tainted. A discussion for another forum though.

Yes but because your perception can be tainted it is on your perception of reality that you make your decisions.

    Reality itself has no baring.

Madness may affect your perception, and as a result your reality.

    Madness = <Insert perception altering state>

Its tricky to explain, but I think you get the idea.

"Perception" would be an interesting thread title. After hours perhaps?

I think it is beneficial for people to discuss phrases in this thread.
