How about a phrase of the day?

My suggestion: narcissistic wound (when a 2 year old realises the world doesn't revolve around him).

Best said in a thick Glasgow accent. Billy Connolly special :D

There are actually a good few examples of where E comes before I but no one has pulled the educators up on it when they drum the stupid little I before E poem into our little skulls at a young age....

    Mentally scarred E am!!!!

    ok 2 suggestions 1:

    i think therefore i am not a blonde :p

    and 2:

Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes. because then he's a mile down the road, and you've got his shoes!

    i like that one...

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,717 ✭✭✭Praetorian

Thanks for your suggestions Drowner. They are pretty funny. I think the original versions are more suitable for the phrase of the day.

    I think therefore I am

Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes.

There is a thread on the humour board "One liners post here :P Puns also welcome" Your suggestions would go down well there.

    You know these:

Cats always land on their feet
Toast always lands buttered side down

Well I was thinking I would tie a piece of toast butter side up on the top of a cat and throw em in the air.

I'd say they'd spin in the air for the rest of time.:ninja:
