Its amazing how much thinking you can do in that 2 seconds.

It's amazing alright I couldn't believe what I'd been through later that day after A&E etc. Just thought it's mad how a day can change so quick.

@MCM - Oh god I did, not afraid of them or anything but just sure to be wearing all the gear now.

Totally agree with you on that, one night I was on this, the next half my house was on fire, could've been killed too of it wasn't for a series of happenings

I had to wear a brace for 4 months, couldnt really lift anything heavy or work with my arms in front of me (washing up, ironing or anthing with hand tools like shovels) for a couple of months after. I was certified and got my motocross licence back after 10 months.
It gave me grief for about 2 years, now I have no problems atall.
The injury I had is nearly always caused by a car accident.
I know of two other people with this injury also and we are all fine.
Tell your mate he'll be grand;)

Earlier today I was parked in the village at school out time. 3 kids of about 8 walked past my car and one said to the others that it was a cool car! Made my day anyway :D:o

Was driving past the place I normally get diesel this evening 1.55 euro per litre that seems mad. I didn't think it had gone up that much.

What's a fair price for a 1996 Civic 3dr auto with 60k miles taxed till the end of march with no NCT.

Dark navy in colour and a clean body. A friend wants to know and I'm afraid to insult him

    1.4?

Really not that much. Asking price of €600 open to offers? Sound about right?

If it's cleaned up well inside and out and the ad has good pictures with an honest description then I think it'll sell.

What do people make of these style wheels? I like 'm! Not ready to buy just yet, but might make a purchase with some new rubber soon.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,830 ✭✭✭✭MuppetCheck

They aren't original BBS wheels as the advert implies. Quality on replicas can be hit and miss.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,473 ✭✭✭YbFocus

Basicallly the nicest wheel on the market if you ask me. Gorgeous on an e46!

Bought a Cinquecento today! :D Drove it 100km and it didn't miss a beat!

White, 1996 reg. Irish car. Only 230eur, near perfect for the year. 4 newish tyres (2009 with 85% thread, all matching), gearbox and air filter. 130k miles. All it needs is NCT and Tax, but will fly through it once the most glaring fault is fixed... The windshield wiper motors! :D Should have it on the road for under 450, thats including tax and NCT (fingers crossed) and turn 25 in Oct so classic insurance could be on the cars to use it as a second car. :)

Thanks to dgt for spinning out with me to check it and also all you members of motors that posted about how great they are, but for some reason never go out to check or buy one? :P
