Be Quiet! System Power 7 500W cable Issues?

Two people have had dodgy Pci-e power cables recently with this power supply.I've no idea how many people have bought them recently so if the numbers are high it might be nothing to worry about but worth noting for future builds.

The gpu's wouldn't work correctly until a bad cable was swapped out.

It could just be a random thing as BeQ are a good brand but it might be worth making a note of it for any future build recommendations?
