Loose chippings, the scourge of my favorite roads out in the wicklow mountains these days

Even if they were to clean the corners itself. Theres evidence of a recent smash into the ditch, wasn't like that last night.... Even at very low speeds the van was fairly wanderly wagon, hiw much of that crap did they waste???

Those c*nts on my road with mowers should be sweeping the road instead of mowing the whole f*cking road at all hours of the day, the useless wasters. Scrounging wastes of space

They put them chipping down for grip on country roads, leaving them smooth would be a death trap.

But they don't sweep the chippings and the vehicles roll on the loose chippings. My point is is it that hard to sweep them into the ditch??? Clearly so

Yes they really should sweep the loose chipping after they are done. The worst part of them loose chipping is, your driving along nice and slow to watch your car, some fúcker in a pile of shít comes flying along chipping flying every where and ruin your paint work and crack your wind shield. Easily happen.

Not me driving, if you can get this non turbo van to go quickly I want to know how :p

In 2nd gear you can feel the front starting to go towards the ditch round some of the corners

Saw a german VW Eos club at midway in portlaoise. I didn't get a picture unfortunately. Interesting sight though, about 6 or so cars at least.

Fancy buying something for the car this week, hmm what to do.

Maybe some paint for the grilles and fog surrounds or some nice superbright bulbs and led license plate jobbies.

Cian lad, can you fill me in on the scandal, by pm if needs be.

Now lads, I've a weird dilemna

The OH (should I just call him Mr Stheno?) got the car of his dreams (he's a luddite which should explain the choice) as part of his 50th birthday.

It's an E series Merc, an E200 Elegance 00 reg.

Now he loves it, no fecking surprise there as everytime he gets in the alfa and murders the clutch I think about leaving him.

Problem is that he and my mechanic (no loyalty when it comes to gender, I introduced them) love the evil beast (I've nicknamed it the pig in private) and I fecking hate it.

He got the pig after having a C5, as a passenger I could stretch out and have my feet on the dash (cue MM dying of horror) in the pig I can't and the foot space is crap (note, I've still to drive the pig)

    Am I being extreme here?

No you can't call him mr stheno as you aren't married. :pac:

Need me a few opinions, over the next 4 years I'm planning on radically changing the astra, it'l look the same on the outside, bar all the dents and crap, but it'l be the mechanical end that'l see the most difference, so for now it's all cosmetic

I might even make my own transformation thread!:pac:

Starting with these headlights! Complete with a set of Phillips white h7s?
Yay? Or nay? My main concern is the nct, would they fail it or does it even matter?

Oooh how I've missed my 406 this past few days due to the half exhaust....!

Have been in an array of different cars but I'm back where I should be :) running much better with the somewhat full exhaust too! :D

In other news, Navan have some absolute stupid dozy feckers as drivers
