Don't go sending for Mass cards, just yet!

There's the hope and attitude Wayne needs and has lads. Thanks Grayditch.

Likewise 5star but then I got thinking... the pictures weren't long up on FB when it was posted in the United thread. What I imagine is that a few of the lads are a little out of sorts after seeing one of their players like that. Call me a touch soft but I'll excuse them a while to come to terms with the picture before having any notions of sending then my way.

I Might PM one or two of them later actually, I'll let you know.

It's good that you are maintaining a relationship with them, despite the differences. I know for years they were lamenting that special poster they could all PM prior to the big clash vs Liverpool, but now they finally have one.

It must be such a relief for them.

Personally I hope Rooney is out for 8 months with that injury.

Stop it 5star you're embarrassing me now :) You little divil you x

But look, I'm here to do what I can and help when I can. If I'm a rivalry-calming bridge for United and Liverpool fans to cross then I'm all for playing Jesus :)

Ah look it now 5star there's little or no need for that, tut tut tut. Anymore of that now and it'll be 4star I'll be referring to you as, 3 even.

I'm trying to figure out how United fans would take to Audman, and all I can do is ask myself how I'd feel if Pee Wee Herman came into the pub in a United jersey telling a bunch of Pool fans "Hey Hey it's gonna be Okay-kay".

    I dunno, it... might work...

If I was a utd fan I would be 3 star, but LFC have won it 5 times, so you can't relegate me I'm afraid, no matter how disappointing I am.

Someone described wayne's wound as a gash, would I be skirting a yellow card to suggest.... Oh no I better not. Anyway it's going to make the transplants a little trickier now.

Suggest what? That it's not the ugliest gash he's ever had on his head?

Loved him due to the important goals he scored for us and due to the fact that he was a likeable guy who clearly loved the club.

Overall though he was a frustrating player quite a lot of the time

Loved the important goals he scored, but God he was frustrating. I never saw a player give the ball away as much as he did.

What's going on around here? I come home from work and only have 7 pages to get through, the norm is 20+, standards are slipping lads, get cracking!.

My fav Luis Garcia goal was that little rasper against Juve, peachy.

Garcia was the one of the most frustrating players I've ever seen in a Liverpool shirt. Take away a few of those very important goals he scored and he was a bit sh1t.

He scored some brilliant goals. I had forgotten about the Juventus goal, I don't think he'd have hit the post/bar quite as much..

He is that type of player. The goal he scored against Tottenham curling into the corner before halftime - in the video above - he practically hadn't touched the ball or contributed at all in the other 43 minutes.

Seeing as we are reminiscing somewhat, I'd like it to be known I may have had an ever so slight mancrush on Patrik Berger, that hammer-like left foot was to die for too, but what about the alice band!
