android device on wireless

Are you able to connect android devices to the wireless yet? I remember we got a email in May/June that they would be upgrading the system after the exams, did this ever happen?

You connect already. This is how I did it.

Download dolphin browser. Change somewhere in dolphin settings to appear as Linux. Then connect to the wireless as if you were using a Linux machine.

Well you'd probably still have to register your MAC address like you do with any laptop and your effectively doing the same thing in the way I described

I actually can't find my phone to check right now but theses instructions seem about right

Got my phone hooked up to the WiFi yesterday, no jumping through hoops required. Just connect to TCDwifi_first steps and it'll walk you through the process. Simples!
