Theres nothing qroteseque about any of the images, although there is some nudity during "Young Lust".

100% agree with a previous post in that artists of the quality of Roger Waters are all advancing in age and this will be the last time to see a show of this quality and scale.

Ive seen this show twice, its designed to be watched from a distance.

Theres more effects and pyrotechnics in the opening number than in any other acts finales.

Regarding bringing a 9 year old, Id absolutley bring him and watch the expression on his face when the plane shoots from the back of the Aviva and crashes into the stage during "In the flesh". He'll love you forever.

offered 2 tickets for the gig in South Stand Sec 319 Row L.

Would these tickets be worth the money or would i better going with a upper/lower west or east stand ticket.

Was up in Premium Level for the rugby and its not all great but its nice and warm on a cold day

Just out of curiosity, do people still come stoned to these concerts, or is it a thing of the past?

I would like to take my girlfriend to the concert but I have no idea which seats to pick: West Stand Premium BLK328 Row C, South Stand Premium BLK314 Row E, standing in the Pitch, or rather in the Gold Circle Block1 Row U. Which would be best in terms of sound and view?

    Please help :)

Cienciano, can you tell me why West Stand Premium? Gold Circle Block1 looks great on the map or is it too close?

It's tiered seating in the stands, so you won't have someone in front of you. Wasn't at a concert in the aviva before, but assume the seats are flat. I got tickets for the west premium too, but I'm a bit further back.
But for a concert like this I don't think you want to be too close to the front.
The premium level is a good height i reckon.

Luckily it doesn't seem to be selling out though so I still have time to wangle a way!

There's ads on the radio every time i hear it. I hope it's not in danger of being cancelled because i've never heard so many ads for any show ever.

    check toutless.com
Or even go outside on the day. I reckon there's a lot of people who'll be happy to get anything for their spare tickets.

They should have held it in the o2. The aviva was too ambitious for this and tickets are so expensive.

They did play the O2 and it was brilliant.

This is the stadium part of the tour.

No way is it going to be cancelled. They always have loads of ads for gigs that haven't sold out in the weeks before the gig

He is playing Manchester arena two days before Dublin and a couple of the other September gigs are arena shows as well.

There's enough demand for tickets in some countries for more than one gig. Then it's usually one stadium gig and one arena gig (E.g. Wembley and Manchester arena) or the Olympic stadium in Berlin and then an arena in Dusseldorf.

I am delighted he is doing the Aviva this time around as I look forward to witnessing the sheer scale of it and the extra effects that were not done at the O2.

I'm looking at tickets on ticketmaster & what I'm trying to decide between tickets for (a) around row H, block 1, in the gold circle, or (b) pitch standing, or the (c) lower tiers in the rear, at the corners, or (d) the south stand premium...

any advice- greatly appreciated and very much required!
    thanks

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,262 ✭✭✭kenon

For me it would be between gold circle and pitch standing.

I went for pitch standing as it made it easier to meet up with friends who bought tickets at different times etc.

Just not selling well, not canceling just yet!!!

At least they are trying to sell by bringing down the price of the tickets.

Sitting on the premium level at the front row so nobody will be in my way!
