Great boost to the club to make the group stages again, we should see a bit of activity in the transfer market now but just as importantly we should be looking to sign Sami, Ledley & Stokes up on new deals.

Pukki is discussing personal terms with the club this week...Fee agreed...not sure bout this guy

Nir Biton Israeli holding midfielder also confirmed to sign tonight by Lennon - He is a big lump of a lad who played a few pre season games with Man City last year on trial

That would be daunting. I take it you mean Real Madrid. Celtic haven't played Real Madrid in Europe since 1980 I believe, a couple of games v them would be interesting.

I'd take your had off for Dortmund now. Quality city, quality stadium, quality fans, quality team. Rather Benfica and Basel from the other pots tbh.

Celtic Park is amazing on European nights.

I wish Irish football matches were like that in Lansdowne.

It used to be but not now.

The belief the fans show is amazing.

I think Real Madrid and Bayern should be avoided at all costs if I were Celtic fan anyway.

What a night. Thought Lustig and Ambrose were solid. Matthews done well on the right. Commons and Samaras came up with the goods when needed, as did Stokes. Forrest is a very frustrating player at times but credit to him, thought he looked much better in the second half.
It wasn't pretty at times but the getting to the group stages is all that matters. It's a must every season really. Hopefully Lawell and Lennon can sort out a couple of players before the deadline.

Ambrose caused them a few problems when he ran forward with the ball from CB, it created space elsewhere

Have to say, I thought Sammy was a different player 2nd half compared with the 1st half, when I wanted him subbed. 2nd half he seemed to revert to what he's best at, holding the ball, allowing other players up to support. He must have got a good kick up the arse at HT.

Delighted for Forrest, he's been getting a lot of stick lately, but I do wonder about him playing through injury. He'll certainly be feeling sore today after that sliding tackle he tool.

Stokes was absolutely brilliant for the third. Drifting by defenders and what a ball to pull back to Forrest, class.

Getting defence sorted is critical. You can tell that Forster is completely unsettled with what's going on in front of him at the moment. He has zero confidence in his centre backs and it shows.

Not a great fan of Celtic but credit where it is due. That was a fantastic disciplined performance and the fans helped to see their club home. Well done

Wow what a night and I have all the signs of it this morning too :D thought Sammy was immense last night especialy second half and thought Stokes was very good aswell and got he's just rewards for the third, was slightly dissapointed with Brown and Ledly although Brown did improve as the game went on.

Im not in position to make a clear call as dont watch every Celtic game, but is Stokes finishing just short of what it should be?

His overall game seems to be fine got lot going for him, but needs to be better between the posts.

Yep, that's how I'd pretty much sum him up. He could have been the villain of the piece if he hadn't assisted for the 3rd goal, considering the miss he had earlier.

He seems to be working real hard at the moment, hope it pays off with more starts and more goals for him. Last night will certainly have helped raise his profile a bit. Fantastic bit of skill from him.

And, asked if there would be any further signings now that Celtic had reached the lucrative group stage, Lennon said: "I don't know. You are asking the wrong person.

"We came into this with no real help, which makes it even more remarkable what we have achieved tonight."

Is this a dig at Lawwell?
