I haven't pre ordered & haven't decided on PS4 or XboxOne yet. I have PS3 & always been a playstation man but I will wait to see what people think of both devices.

I am in NYC in the middle of December so if I decide, which, one I want I will go on the hunt over there & try pick one up, if they are not sold out. If so I will just wait till the New Year.

I wonder if we will have a lot of resellers on launch night and few days after. I presume you could easily resell ps4 for 500-600eu?

Gamestop have the AC4 Buccaneer Edition for PS4 on their website for 99 euro which is a steal considering the skull edition is also 99 and comes with less stuff. I assume if you PO they have to honour this price.

I wouldn't imagine they'll have many copies. But if you're down the line, make sure you tell the cashier that it's an 18's game and it shouldn't be sold to people without ID :pac:

Least profiterring is banned on adverts :P as in they wont be able to sell it for over 400.

No that rule was changed two years ago.. Profiteering is looked down upon but no rules against it now on adverts.

. The limited edition Lego set launched 2 weeks ago for 159.99eu. Few days later it was sold for 400eu on adverts. I am sure there will be ps4 up on adverts for a higher price tag.

People wondering about Tesco, friend of mine works in electronics in a 24hr Tesco. He hasn't preordered anywhere, he seems confident enough that Tesco will have them on the 29th and getting himself one at midnight there

I work in Tesco (not in hardware) and have collected a lot of games at 12.01am. They usually arrive the day before hand because I check with the manager and he always tells me they are there but I can't have one

It will be the same for GTA5.

Just pop down on the day and ask someone in hardware to check if they got them in, then pop back at 12 and collect it

Also if you have PS+, you will have plenty to distract you along with the game you get with console till they arrive.

True....but i think the idea of buying one AAA title on the night so as it'll tide you over for a week while the Amazon stuff arrives makes more (gamer) sense....;)

They only put them out to get alot of extra cash for very little cost input into the LE bundle, all that digital code content....its just unlocking or early access!

If you play the game you'll eventually get all that stuff....now if it was *extra* new stuff not in the standard edition then fair enough.....the posters and statues and all that crap costs very little to make, but they charge 100 - 200 quid for it!

Besides all that....those LE takes up way too much space + the resale or Gamestop value is a disgrace!

I have to say it is actually very hard for me not to buy them especially AC4 as I have all the other AC editions but I have to grow up and get real now, its just stuff at the end of the day that just sits on a cabinate and does nothing...
On the other hand I have gotten some of the new mcfarlane AC figures already and might get the Edward Kenway & Blackbeard statues..... sigh...

Once I had kids all I have now is a small LCD and a PS3 stuck in the corner of the kitchen and a Vita for the bedroom! All my zombie stuff and old consoles are gathering dust in the attic, I tell the Mrs its our pension!

Smyths in Dublin accepted my pre-order yesterday but advised there is no hope of a day 1, maybe before Christmas - doubtful though but are calling per the order the pre-orders are received.

Only worry is my number was written on the back of a receipt...

It's only the collecting that I have to grow up about... I'm 28 and have been playing video games since I was 6, I'll always be a gamer

When I have kids, they can have the little TV, I'm keeping my 46inch tv!! Or maybe just not have kids, I don't know if I could handle making those sorta sacrifices haha
