Tom Clancy: The Division & general Tom Clancy games

    Is anyone planning on getting this game?

    I have to say it looks fantastic based on the gameplay demo I saw on the youtube machine but there's always something about Tom Clancy games that leave me a bit cold.

    I played Ghost Recon Future soldier and Rainbow Six and while I couldn't fault the gameplay, the visuals or even the story there's always been something a bit too clinical or cold about those games. Maybe it's that I never empathize with the characters who generally seem to be one-dimensional soldier types. As a result I didn't finish either game.

    Anyway I'm hoping the Division will be good because that's tentatively on my to-buy list, dependent on reviews.

    Does anyone else ever get that vibe about Tom Clancy games?

    I think the division looks awesome and will be a blast to play with friends. I haven't played any of the Tom Clancy games but this 1 is most certainly on my list of day 1 purchases.

    day 1 for me
    but id say it will be delayed until early/late 2015 :) considering its a new ip and ubisoft are terrible for delaying games specialy if their new ips
