Have an item I bought from Amazon, they have a no quibble 30 day returns policy, however after that is "contact the manufacturer".

The item I have is dead, however, I thought there was a statutory 12 months return to the retailer ?

Anyone ever encounter this before ?

If the item is electrical, Amazon will issue a replacement or refund within the 12 months if the item is faulty.

Thanks Vologda69, there doesn't seem to be a way of returning it though ?

If you go into your online account and click Return it should generate a return label. Or else you can email or ring them and they will send you a link to print a returns label. Their customer service is 1st class.

Yeap - If it's after 30 days the auto return label option will not be there. I had to email them and then they emailed a link with the returns label to print out. This was for an item supplied and sold by Amazon themselves (not a 3rd party seller).
