Just reading on BBC website that Tyson says he is nearly dead from drink and drugs. He admits that he is a "vicious alcoholic"

I'm sure most people on here know someone who gets aggressive when boozed up and want to fight the world. These are dangerous people to be around when out for the night.

Question is if Tyson gets like this when drinking how would someone go about stopping him? Elephant tranquilliser perhaps?

I say this as a fan of boxing I've never anything like him before or since in the ring. Tyson in his prime would put Ali in his prime on his Arse. He probably is the greatest Heavyweight of all time.

Just keep some pigs ears in your pocket and when he gets out of control just give him one to nibble at!

I haven't saw that but will try to get it. Tyson must be one of the most vicious boxers of all time in the ring. Frightening. I remember when Bruno fought him a lot of people were genuinely concerned that he might terminate Frank on live TV.

Yes, or shoot him. Stab him even, probably a few times.

Or if you're a skilled grappler take him to the ground and beat him there.

I remember watching him fight Michael Spinks, which was hyped a lot at the time as going to be super....

What a dissapointment that turned out to be....91 seconds

His knockout compulation videos on YouTube are actually frightening.some of the people go into convulsions and fits after he clocks them.in his prime he was one of the most menacing fighters there was.

I've seen them and yes he was a frightening sight in the ring. Anyone who got in th ring with him at that time was very brave. You would have had a better chance against a rhino.

Tyson comes from a long line of boxers.

His father was a boxer, his grandfather was a boxer, his great grandfather was a boxer too.

His mother was a labrador though.

Well, he says he wants to live, and he knows what to do, so the rest is up to him. You can bet that all the newspapers already have his obituary on file, needing only an update on the cause of death. This may sound harsh, but people die all the time, and we don't need him, do we?

If I remember that one correctly, you could see the fear in Spinks face before a blow had been landed.

Mike Tyson was and still is by all rights, an intimidating character. I would not like to meet him.

Police would stop him the same way they stop most. Tackle to the ground and possibly use a tazer.

Ken Shamrock called him out for a fight about 10 years ago I think, that was before Tito handed him his ass twice though....

seen a documentary showing how a lot of commentators on boxing were backing Spinks to outbox Tyson and Ring magazine considered Spinks the legitimate and lineal champion because he beat Holmes after Holmes had relinqushied the belts.

Anyway living the whirlwind life Tyson has had from a young age there's never going to be a happy ending. Too much too young with his finger always on the self destruct button but funnilly enough in interviews when he wasn't promoting fights he always comes across as a vulnerable and soft character

I don't think people realize he is a fat 5 foot 10 46 year old.

What has his height got to do with anything? He was the same height when he was heavyweight champ.
