It's quite possible a Windows driver just does not exist for it. Especially without knowing the wireless chipset in it, I would just get a cheapo adaptor somewhere like Argos.

You need an xbox wireless adaptor for 360 pads. It runs at a different frequency to normal bluetooth adaptors so you need to get a microsoft one.

Look for the driver installation guide on youtube. It's a bit of a pain.
Ahh, that's a wireless transceiver to use XBox controllers on a PC.
The XBox Wireless Network USB adapter is a different gadget (to connect the XBox to a WLAN router).
I read that it can be used on a PC, apparently it's a Marvell chip and Windows 7 actually installs the driver via Windows Update... but XP? I doubt it.
As yoyo said, buy some USB WLAN dongle for a tenner and be done with it.0 -
