UK Playstation plus code on Irish account?

Hey guys I got 3 month subscription off NowTv but the problem is that it's for a UK account only I believe as the UK flag is on the case, has anyone had success using a UK code on an Irish account? Don't want it to go to waste cheers

If it's a UK code it will only work on a Uk account most people will just make or have a UK account.
