'06 Fiesta head gasket repair cost?

    Losing lots of coolant over the last while, kept it topped up and now there is lots of creamy mayo on the oil cap and dipstick. I'm assuming the head gasket, if not more, will need doing.
    How much does this typically cost? Just want a ballpark before I bring it to the mechanic.

    Probably looking between six and eight hundred euro to do a headgasket properly.

    You would need to get your leak sorted first which could be one of a number of things on those fiestas from a water pump, thermostat housing or main heater hose would be main culprits.
