Same developer as far as I know. GAA version was their sideline.

Might have to give it a spin then.

Never heard of such a device - is it just needed because you don't have the discs and can load from SD card or something?

Yup, allows me to use an extensive collection of Amiga disk images without the read/write errors if I attempted to put them on disks. Steve SI has the same device but he has it all nicely modded into the case. I will do that eventually, but more parts are a coming! 8mb memory upgrade, Amiga-PS/2 mouse adapter, Competition Pro joystick and more!

Picked up Pikmin (GC) and Chaos Legion at Ayacon, also got an Animal Crossing miniature set and Mario / Famicom keychains.

For an A600? Where did you get that, if you don't mind me asking?

    Just picked this up:

Not Arcade & Retro but I'm definitely subscribing to this, they'll look nice on a shelf.

Do they come with tips for dealing with loneliness and with recipes for dining alone? ;)

What kills me about this kind of thing (I'd have loved to get the Batman chess or vehicles ones) is the price.

    Issue 1 - Only €2.99!
    Regular price - €99.99 + vital organs

The regular price is €15. That's not so bad considering that's the amount you'd usually pay for a plastic model of this type and these are die cast metal.

So it's actually not that bad really, and you don't have to put it together yourself which is a big plus.

I've already subbed via their website anyway... all the Enterprises on chronological order will look awesome on a shelf.

Also in relation to the dining alone and being girlfriendless comment here's a picture of my fiancé from a few years ago:

Is this magazine collection to try to win her back?

Alright Grammar Nazi... the picture itself is from a few years ago. The fiancé was only made my fiancé last month. I'm still getting used to saying fiancé but I still rather like saying fiancé.

    Fiancé.

No pics of her as an Orion slave girl, no?
    Saving those for yourself?
    Selfish git.... ;)

Few random bits from the last week. Went to a car boot sale and picked up this bundle for €15. I think I have ridge racer 4 already but it might be missing the disc.

These were €1 a piece from charity shops. Max Payne even has the receipt in it from gamesworld back in 2002 for €34.99 used!

And finally, I've been popping into my local xtra vision stores regularly to see what's left. Most of the stuff has 50-80% off so well worth a look. They even have lots of N-Gage games too if that's your thing. Think it worked out at around €20 for all of these.

    Nice haul!
That rally championship is nice, well done.
The cover reminds me of Network Q Rally on the PC from back in the day, a pre McCrae era rally game so not as smooth as we're used to, but nice.

Picked up Project Zero yesterday on Xbox. I've never played it, as I really dislike the original Xbox and only got one lately. I did, however, hear that it's scary as all feck.

Ohh wow Network Q Rally... I think I got that free with my first Geforce graphics card back in the day. Sad that I remember the model number... Geforce MX200.

You know, I buy scary games but wind up not playing them, due to the scariness...
But don't worry, I'm not undermined as a man in any way by that statement....
Now, where did I put that Bob the Builder game?

Hmm, this is something I'd expect from Atavan or, more likely, Dinorex.
Frankly, I'm disappointed in you, feel you've let us all down... :(

Actually technically my first graphics card was an ISA peice of **** that could only output in 8bit colours.

    Yeah don't ask...

I had a Creative Labs 3D Blaster, the one based on the Rendition Verite 1000 chipset.
As I've said here before, playing Tomb Raider on it was amazing, as was the patched Quake, very very nice indeed.

Just picked up Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door for the 'cube.
My son is on the finishing stages of Super Paper Mario on the Wii, as well as about to complete Superstar Saga on the GBA, he needs a regular supply of Ninty rpg titles it seems!

Picked up 3 3DS games for the Gamestop yesterday for the grand sum of €8.88 x 3.
Got Pokemon Rumble, Starwing and Street Fighter.
Got home and realised I all ready have Street Fighter for the 3DS.
Never returned anything to Gamestop, what are they like? Just going to get credit towards Project X Zone or Tales of the Abyss.

    Noooooo!

I have to keep something for myself
Plus, I'm trying to spare myself the indignity of having to ask my 10 year old for help when I get stuck!
