What do the pros think of Kingspan shares?

    Hi all, I've been doin a bit of research on kingspan, I know there in the building supplies market but there also in the green market. What do people think about investing at the moment?

    Also long ot short?

    Do they have much debt? If not I might be interested myself. Especially with governments pushing insulation. I would keep away from any company with too much debt at the moment.

    No debt - pure profit ;)

    Profit down 34% from 1stQ last year tho

    I remember analysing them back in '07. Went through their accounts and competitors. I was impressed with Kingspan. They were ahead of the game in terms of products they were developing, maybe too far. I think theey had some very energy efficient but expensive products. The downside to this was that builders generally use the cheap stuff for profit margin and would continue to do so until better regulation was enforced.

    A good company nonetheless. Obviously, present economic situation has to be taken into account.

    I recon any building related company should be a good investment at present as the bottom must be reached in term of activity so something like crh or kingspan should be a good bet

    People still buying this? I'm still unsure, I'm going to look into its foreign markets and see what sort of potential it has.
