LG 55LN575V Dreambox/Sky HD Bad quality

    I just bought this t.v.

    and I got it set up today, I am using a dreambox800HD connected via HDMI (same as sky, I presume)
    And I am completely shocked by the HD quality, my Samsung le40c530 which I bought 4 years ago shows much better quality, now I do not know if it is the picture setting or something. But the quality is not that bad but it is no the HD as I would get from my samsung 40 inch...
    Any resoloutions or tips to improve the settingS(Can anyone guide me to a picture setting tutorial for a HD box, thanks)

    Almost certainly picture settings. Make sure it isn't set to "dynamic": not sure if LG offer "home" or "commercial/store etc." in the initial setup menu.

    It is set to standard
    Anyone have an lg tv who can offer give more insight to their picture setting
