I'm gonna just come out and say it.

Alfa Romeos are the ugliest car brand around. With the exception of the front of the 159 everything about them looks ugly.

Uglier than KIA? Each to their own I suppose

    Somebody ban this guy!

Are you serious? The ugliest? really?
Come off it. There are a million toyotas, nissans, kias, dacia, renault, daewoo/chevrolet etc ad infinitum that are uglier.

Fair enough, looks are entirely subjective. :)

Which brand do you believe to have the best looking cars out if the mainstream brands though?

The thing with Alfas is that you need to actually own one to know what they are actually like. Of course I dont know if you have owned one but its more than just about the looks.
Take the 156 for example, there is just something about the car which when you park it you always turn back to look at it. Something I just don't do with our Volvo. And as an A side, the 156 is just pure beauty :) I'm biased though.

They say the front of a car kind of looks like a face. Some are angry, some agressive, some pleasant, and some a little bit dull.

Alfa Romeos have the face of a sad downes syndrome child.

Cheers, different folks, different views on different cars :) To me, most modern Peugeots have a stupid silly smile for example, Audi's are hungover and Chevrolets we get here are the 6 year old whos dressed up as flash gordon.... That's some of my views and others will conflict but that's what makes us all different :D

I share a similar view but on a completely different car (no disrespect to people with the aforementioned symptom but clearly this lot don't think that)

For me Alfas have always been more about how they drive than how they look

Is there any difference between the Altezza and the normal IS200?

Altezza is 4-pot Yamaha engine, IS200 is straight six Toyota / Lexus engine

Both terrible on the juice :)

That cougar was €1,200 when I posted it a couple of days ago I think.

    Low mile Primera asking €690
    7 months test.
If the miles check out ya couldn't go wrong for around 600 notes.

    Doesn't the saying go:
    • 1 litre performance
    • 2 litre tax
    • 3 litre fuel economy
    ?
