Just discovered, using an old picture and my mileage on the car now, that I've clocked up 5000 miles in the last 3 months!

This is unacceptable and well below my quota!

Turned 7k km on the way home tonight since 1st July. Doesn't smell new anymore anyway!

Looks like this will be my last week in Paris:(
So 1 week to wakeboard, eat french pastries and empty my drinks cabinet:D
(there is a bottle of mirabelle and a 2006 bordeaux with my name on them;) )
I updated my cv on mon (last update 2004) sent it to a few people and yesterday I had 3 phone calls asking for interviews :) (btw if you want to see hate, try conducting a 10 min phone conversation in english on a train in paris at rush hour :pac: )

On topic: I'm driving an X5 from paris to cherbourg and back today to pick up a boat. ( this one I think

Its not that bad, What I mean is the estimate for the Chaser is VRT:€1300, But I also have to pay 10% customs on price of car + shipping and then 23% VAT on the price of + shipping + customs, then I need to pay a customs clearence company €120 for getting the car off the ship for me.

€120 to drive a car off a ship?

No choice, but I think they pay all the charges like VAT and customs and then you pay them, they also can give you a temporary plate as long as you can get insurance under a temp transfare, I do plan to write a how to guide when I am finished the process.

In other news just drove past Atlas Drumcondra and saw KS&L outside beside his Volvo, gave him a beep and a wave, not sure he saw me in the 156 though!
