Is an AMD FX 4100 worth?

I am currently looking at getting an AMD FX 4100 in a "gaming bundle" from mapplins. heres the link :http://www.maplin.co.uk/black-ice-quad-core-amd-fx-4100-asus-board-bundle--4gb-amd-memory-626351

after searching the site i found another "gaming bundle" with the same CPU and more RAM. Heres the link :http://www.maplin.co.uk/quad-core-amd-fx-4100-asus-board-bundle--8gb-memory-628056

Could someone please tell me if they are the same products and if the AMD FX 4100 is a good CPU!

2. What will be the main purpose of the computer? [Gaming/Video editing/3D Modelling/HTPC/Internet] (If gaming include which games)

3. Do you need a copy of Windows? [Yes/No]
