Ah darn. That's disappointing. The bloody ad said it would def be in Easons or so I thought. I wasn't unfortunately near one today so I never got to look.

    Sorry for causing any disappointment:(

Who is Hollywood going to refer to now when he shows off his recipes to Mary? "I make this for my wife....."

Only a few more hours to go. Going to have dinner just before it to stop the belly rumbling as I watch all the loveliness!

I'm not keen on Mark at all.

I loved the little chocolate bear!

The woman with the squirrel cake is great fun!

I don't get the contestants saying that this is the first time they did a recipe or heard of it in the technical challenge. They should know the basic recipes of each of the Judges. Or has Mary Berry a great list of her favourite recipes that she hasn't published in a cook book? If it was me that was entering, I be borrowing every Mary Berry bakery recipe book out there and ruling out the technical challenges already used in the previous 3 series.

    Yes! Next week hopefully!

I love mel and sue... Great double act. Totally underused by the beeb.

Maybe that's the way want to be, they did break up as a comedy act and Sue seems to have 2 shows on the go between TV and radio on the Beeb.

Yeah maybe. I'd love to see them more often though.

Hi gang, just followed this thread this evening as I missed The Great British Bake Off on Tuesday and only managed to catch it on repeat this evening.

LOVE it! So glad it's back..Paul has the meltiest eyes ever!

I absolutely love Mel and Sue, they're so witty.

That Angel Food Cake looked tricky, didn't it?

I thought the cake with the bear was lovely, as was the Chocolate Monster cake with those profiteroles pouring out.

I'm so happy this show is back and I look forward to the next installment on Tuesday! :)

Great show tonight, Lucy had to go, no effort whatsoever in her bread. Must be frustrating for the judges to that happen.

Looking forward to next week, petit fors always challenging.

Probably one of the best shows on tv.

The bread episode is never really my favourite.

Lucy totally deserved to go; her breadsticks were bland looking and her loaf was unimaginative.
I really liked the matchsticks breadsticks.

I have a secret crush on Paul!
    Not so secret now

Looking forward to next week; looks interesting!

Everyone has a crush on Paul... & he knows it.

Wasn't he banging the presenter of the American version of GBBO?
