    Need help people....

Where could I go to get an ECU virginised? Or even how to go about virginising one? It's from a 1998 Alfa V6, CF1.....

There's a place in galway I've been keeping an eye on, they seem pretty good, I think anyways http://www.ecotune.ie/index.php

What happens if your car goes sideways at a normal/non drift track day?
    Flagged down?

Hmm might give them a shout if I can't find something, cheers! :D

Ideally a CF2 ecu would be perfect for my application! ;)

Yep I need it off as the car came with a plain key not a coded one....

It's the early type ecu so big metal box with pcb and lots of chips inside

Max even at the drift days the cars never come in contact and by Jesus they are some affair compared to the track days. It's very civilised, everyone gets room, no one stops a quicker car going through.
I'd feel very safe with the e60 out there.
The biggest thing to worry about is keeping it on the track and watching for brake fade into the likes of Ford, and turn 3 is contrary with how it tightens easy to unsettle the car there.

It'll always be Honda to me

If it goes sideways nothing will be said, if you're sending it sideways then you'll get a talking to and if you keep it up then the day is over

As I imagined, no drifting and no racing.
Must book my test again, maybe I'll be able to get the Mazda there, if even towed down!

You will be driven absolutely demented if you decide to tow it..... Been there too many times! :(

Go on people, rub it in, a fair few were Fiats.....

Towing it down would be the right job, I'm sure Cian knows somebody who could muster him 4 slicks

I wouldn't be so sure if that. Chap would sell his mother if it meant having a busso.

It's been 4 weeks since I've driven my car and I miss it :(:(

I can't wait to drive it again, really missing having something that's fun to drive and chuck about.

You still have an extra 5 though :(
I don't know whether I can do it though, commitments wise or just from the point of view of trashing the car.
I know if I get out there I'll be ripping the guts out of it.

You have to be acting the absolute dick to trash the car. I had all 4 wheels squealing and boiled my brake fluid to the point of having almost no stopping power, and still didn't put it in the dirt.

Ya, you'd need to be really pushing to go off or do damage.
