Well the first thing is who are the cheques made out to?

Made out to xxxx, they should have been lodged into xxxx's account and xxxx got the funds.

Is there something making you think this is not the case??

Yes if you google the sort code it will give you bank and branch it refers to.

I'm sorry I just don't understand the issue. It doesn't matter who it was cleared by the end payment should end up in the payee's account.

Can you clarify what it is exactly is the issue here?
