Local comedy sessions?

I was reading Whazon and it said Rebels Comedy Club meets at LV every Friday at 930, but when I got there the barman didn't have a clue what I was on about. Is there a comedy club, with local comics? Is City Limits the only place?

I was in the Slate last night and there was a sign up about an open mike night, perhaps have a look on their website for more details.

Avoid the gaff on Sundays though, the DJ will murder you via your ears. So, so bad.

City Limits seems to be the only night at the moment. There are talks of another night happening in the coming months but your best bet would be open mic nights (very rare you'll find a comic at one) or gigs at pubs.

Snatch comedy improv group in The Roundy on Tuesday nights.
Starts at 9 and €5 to get in.
Went for the first time on Tuesday and it was brillaint!
