The comments from the agent (assuming they're real) suggest that the news of talks with Anzhi are true, even if United aren't interested.

If Spurs are after Lamela, they probably won't come in for him. City bought a rake of forwards since their earlier interest. Chelsea appear to want a centre forward, but I wouldn't rule them out at all - hopefully rumours of Falcao being available will distract them. I fully expect Arsenal to be interested however.

On the continent, Real are obviously after Bale and Willian is not the household name they crave. Barca? Maybe, but have they any money after buying Neymar? Bayern might want a long-term replacement for Ribery or Robben. Other than PSG, I don't think there are too many clubs who will be in for him at this stage that would be realistic considering he's said he wants to play in England.

Coming into the start of the season I would say Arsenal not having signed anyone is really good for us. Spurs have strengthened but I still believe that if they lose Bale they will be back to square one or potentially worse with new signings perhaps having to gel and the gameplan centred around him having to be changed. But that's a big 'if' and if they keep him I wouldn't rule them out of a title challenge.

Think we've got a decent outside shot, but a lot to be decided in the final 2 weeks of the window.

If we signed Willian I don't see why we couldn't do it - we'd have a very strong attack that would hopefully capitilise on the dominance and attacking possession we will inevitably have in most games

Can't say anything for certain, since I've only seen Cissokho for Valencia and during CL for Porto. So I can't say how different he is now, compared to back then.

One thing's for sure, that Youtube Highlights is just that, a Highlight. He doesn't do that every Game. At least not in Valencia.

Like I've said before, he is like the Black Version of Enrique. Just as Infuriating and just as Inconsistent. I think both of them, are Confidence Players.

My Theory: Because of the Standards of Play is Higher in the Spanish League than the French or the Portuguese League, what once deemed Acceptable in those, is now found wanting in La Liga. To put it plainly, the Difference between Crap and Normal Play for him, is due to the Quality of the Opposition in the League that he plays in.

If you want a better Analysis, may I suggest you posing that Question to Kess, once he comes back. I know he watched Cissokho during his Lyon days, and also watched him at Valencia. Unfortunately, I don't watch the French League, outside of the Weekly Highlights.
