You can keep your TLAD, until GTA V is released SA is the best GTA! :P

Go back and play it now. It isnt that great. The size of the map made it seem better than it actually was. Besides, from the III era, VC wins :p

No the amount of side stuff made it better, not the map size. I still own and play it on my 360. Considering it was released in 2004 sure it has not aged well, still a great game though.

Map size was actually a bit of a bastard. "Start at point A drive to point B, mission failed, start again."

"...GTA Online is not something they have thought about for GTAV, it has been in inception for years. It is something they have always wanted to do and see this as eventually being a franchise..."

Maybe that's the plan for next-gen? GTAV to never come out on those consoles, but the GTA Online to come out for them?

I was thinking the same thing, the fact that it's called something else (GTA Online) suggests it's a different game even though for now, it's part of the GTA5 package.

They release an expanded Next-Gen GTA online with at least 128 players online, current gen GTA'ers will get excited all over again and probably buy again.

Since it is a different component, I wonder will PS3, xbox and PC (eventually) players be able to play together online, now that would be something.

GTA online on next gen they could just add in new cities like Liberty City, Vice City, and maybe even a new one, and the different cities could be just different servers and you have to go to the airport to change servers.

I could really see the GTA online becoming a subscription game like WoW.

This is really going to slow down sales of next gen consoles for a bit.

Ordered with Gamesnash today and was given the €15 discount in about 10 minutes. So if anyone is wary of the increased price, don't be!

    Thanks again Pat!

What discount is this? I thought €57.49 was reasonable!

Worst timing ever it seems to have to mention this :o but we've just about ran out of our initial stock allocation of this. (when someome earlier posted that this should trounce COD this year I can safely state it already has with us for BLOPSII anyway which is crazy stuff one month out) We are getting more stock in but it is costing us a little more so the price has increased on the site. :( What I did do was block out the last of the lower priced stock for boards orders.

If anyone orders today (and possibly tomorrow if the stock holds) and drops me a PM with the order number I will have it processed back at the €54.99 price. It's the best I can do though lads. I've never seen anything like it here.

I'm fairly certain this post will get lost amongst the chatter of the online reveal (WOW btw) but at least it's on the record now so nobody thinks we put it up because of the reveal !!!!

Not quite. Remember in SA there was an alleyway linking to it. This picture doesn't show any. Could be similar though but a different street maybe?

It all looks awesome, though watching the 101 things in GTA 5 youtube video, one of the things listed was 'Clothes can get dirty' and I had a terrifying vision of sitting in a laundromat waiting for the spin cycle, as my previous experiences in Los Santos left a bad taste in my mouth, constantly having to feed CJ.

^^ I've seen pics of a street that looked like Grove Street so I believe it could be there as an Easter Egg. I remember a few Easter Eggs from GTA 3 in GTA 4 as well, the Leone Mansion in Alderney, the Police Station and Hospital also in Alderney.

I bet the first thing everyone will do when they start the game will be to look for Grove St.

There was a brief time earlier today where there was no discount at all showing up on the site for the xbox version and the full €69.99 RRP was charged to a couple of orders. This was discounted back to the €54.99 boards price. Apologies for the confusion.

Our price is €57.49 to everyone in general but €54.99 to boardsies today and tomorrow (whilst stocks last as explained earlier)

Do customers still receive it on release day if they purchase tomorrow?

Any boardsies order will go out on first run. We still have some stock left for day 1 and are trying to get more to top this up (crazy demand for this - bigger by far than any other game this gen - already has shortages in the supply chain) The actual delivery day will be postal service dependent of course. That can be 100% guaranteed with express post if you liked.
