    Does anyone know what the difference between these 2 hard drives are?

    WD Elements = USB 2.0

    WD Elements se = USB 3.0

    Wouldn't recommend either. They're non-SATA drives, so if you need to remove the drive from the enclosure, say, for the purpose of data recovery, you can't just hook them up to a SATA controller.
