When you remove the battery can you see the switch on the inside or is there a centre post that connects to the top of the battery?

I'm guessing the ground wire on the other side of that metal cap has broken off from its solder point.Easy fix if you have a soldering iron

I repair these all the time, get yourself a hammer and repeatedly smash the button area with it.

    That should fix it.

I for one am shocked and appalled at all these helpful posts to a misplaced post that ended up in After Hours, despite my attempts at derailing it as is the accepted method for dealing with posts of this nature.

I feel like I should report anyone who was even remotely helpful.

This is a pretty disappointing thread, where are all the crude jokes gone? Might as well just turn after hours into the 'torch repair and racism' forum now

I look forward to the day your hammer breaks , then I'd recommend Petersons in Dunlaoghire.

An earlier poster said 5 years, you might want to give Petersons in DunLaoghire a call to make sure they give a 5 year warrenty.

    In Petersons?

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

Edit: If this doesn't work, try Peterson's in Dun Laoghaire. They're distributors for those torches. Apparently there's a five year warranty on LED Lensers. Do you still have the receipt?
